a fixed gear city bike

I built this frame three years ago to get around town. This variety of bamboo is almost indestructible. However, the small diameter makes for a whippy ride. Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s grown on me. This was my first frame, built jig-less using a wooden platform and random parts from my local hardware store and McMaster. The joints are carbon fiber. The head-tube, bottom bracket shell, and rear drop-outs are steel.
